It was all

a dream.

Hi! I’m Meg.

The first thing I ever saved up my allowance for was a tent. I was so excited to have my own space when going camping with my family in Oregon in the 90’s, and I still love setting up campsites and being outdoors today.

I started Exterior Medicine because of the huge irony in camping gear. The vast majority of tents, water jugs, and sleeping bags are made with PVC, plastic, polyester, and PFAS — they pollute both our bodies and the environment around us as we’re trying to connect more deeply with nature.

I’m also the founder and owner of Interior Medicine, where I curate all the best non-toxic furniture, healthy design, and organic decor in one place. My mission is to prevent disease by making the homes we spend so much time in, healthier. I bring the same mission to Exterior Medicine— our outdoor homes should be just as healthy as our indoor ones.
